RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the CEO/CTO, the Copywriter Intern will be responsible for external and internal projects in support of internal programs, corporate communications. The Copywriter Intern will be responsible for supporting the marketing team by providing concise, well written copy for the Passber’ website, presentations, and sales collateral.
Create content that raises our visibility to key industries and prospects.
Partner with the marketing team to curate and author content for all marketing and product collateral, including: brochures, flyers, emails, catalogs, and programs.
Author press releases and articles for company newsletters.
Assist the marketing team with creating new campaigns and products
Managing multiple projects and deadlines from concept through completion
Participating in key internal and client meetings, including weekly status updates and planning sessions.
Working within small teams to create meaningful ideas and pitches that meet and exceed the needs of the creative brief.
Aiding in the preparation of files and concept boards for client review and presentation.
Making all appropriate alterations to copy throughout the design process.
Ensuring the quality of the finished product.
Effectively detail features in a creative, compelling manner while maintaining brand voice and tone
Report discrepancies and respond to feedback with punctuality
Serve as the voice of Mass Market and help maintain and evolve copy standards
QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates will be willing to learn new programs, processes, and technology. Candidates should be positive, driven and confident individuals that will represent the company and its customers professionally at all times. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
College Education or above
Minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA in English, Journalism, or any relevant major
2 years academic or copy writing experience with superlative grammar and proofreading skills
Ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills Digital Content Management & Social Media experience is a plus
Can get into the mindset of our target audiences and understand what drives them to make decisions.
Desire to become social media expert in all applicable platforms – keeping us with current industry trends and best practices
Exceptional work ethic and dedication
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and quick learner along with creative thinking High performing self-starter, with proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
